KDM Evolution Trophy - Match Day 5 – Saturday October 11th
All twenty clubs in the two lower tiers of the SPFL structure take a break from league action on Saturday first as the fifth phase of games in the KDM Evolution Trophy takes precedence.
In fact the fifteen ties will take place over Friday and Saturday with Clyde and East Fife and their respective opponents settling for a Friday evening slot. As far as the ‘Loons’ are concerned Saturday brings with it what on paper looks like a tasty home fixture at the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park against William Hill League1 leaders Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The side from the Highland Capital also sit top of the thirty team table after four games in the KDM Trophy, Jim Weir’s side occupying sixth spot at present and with it qualification for the knock out stage of the competition. The ninety minutes of action ahead on Saturday and more importantly the end result will however have a big bearing on the final seeding positions for both clubs in that second phase draw.
Saturday’s game has the usual 3pm. kick-off.
Adult admission on Saturday will be £12 for both the Stand and Terracing with Concessions prices for those aged 12/17 and 65 & over set at £6. A nominal charge of £1 will be levied for under 12’s who as always must be accompanied by an adult.
