CLUB STATEMENT
[Sunday, 25 January 2026 17:47]

All at Forfar Athletic FC have been extremely disappointed with the unsavoury and unacceptable incidents which occurred at the end of yesterday’s match at Station Park against Stirling Albion FC.
Firstly, we want to be very clear that the majority of all supporters at yesterday’s match behaved in the usual exemplary manner.
As a Club, we have been endeavouring to engage with the younger element of our support. We fully understand that they are both the current and future supporters of our Club and we want them to bring their support, noise and passion to create an atmosphere to encourage our team on the pitch.
Despite this engagement, during which
we have made clear behaviour which will not be tolerated, there were incidents yesterday involving behaviour which was entirely unacceptable. Initial information would appear to indicate that this unacceptable behaviour may have been led by a minority of individuals whom, we understand, may not even have been supporters of either team! Unfortunately, that behaviour reflects and impacts on the reputation of our regular supporters and may have serious repercussions for our Club.
Forfar Athletic FC will not tolerate behaviour of this manner and we are currently working with the authorities to identify those who were involved in the incidents in order that appropriate action/sanctions may be taken against them.
We hope that swift and proportionate action can prevent any repeat of this unacceptable behaviour and can avoid any damage to the reputation which the majority of supporters have created over many years attending matches at Station Park.
