Premier Sports Cup – Livingston and Brechin City on the Horizon

The ‘Loons’ following on from their fixtures with Stenhousemuir and Partick Thistle have a free weekend ahead in Group E of the Premier Sports Cup. The two scheduled matches in the group on Saturday first see Livingston welcome Partick Thistle to West Lothian, while Stenhousemuir make the journey to Angus for a clash at the Carnegie Fuels Stadium @ Glebe Park with Brechin City.
Jim Weir’s side return to action on Tuesday evening of next week, the 21st of the month with what will undoubtedly be another tough assignment against Livingston at the Almondbank Stadium now re-named the Home of the Set Fare Arena.
Livingston’s admission prices for their two home ties in the competition differ slightly from the other four clubs in the group;-
Adult admission for the Athies visit will be £18
Concessions (65 & over and students) £12
16/18 year olds £9
Under 16’s £6

Last season the ‘Lions’ operated a match day kiosk where tickets could be purchased on a match day utilising card or cash, but no confirmation has been received as to whether this facility will be available next midweek.
On Saturday week the 25th of the month, we conclude our Premier Cup fixtures with a visit from Brechin City.
Though the game will have no bearing on qualification for the knock-out rounds of the competition, local bragging rights will most certainly be at stake in what is the first competitive meeting between the old rivals since July of 2019.
In that respect it is a match that is without doubt keenly anticipated by fans of both sides.
Admission prices for this encounter will be as follows;-
Adults £15
Concessions (65 & over and 16/18 year olds) £10
Under 16’s accompanied by a paying adult £5
Forfar Athletic season tickets are not valid for this fixture.
