We are delighted to announce our second Jackpot winner of Loons Lucky Lotto.

William (Bill) Walker from Lunanhead, Forfar was the lucky winner of the jackpot of £2,750.

Speaking to Club Director, John Milne, Bill said he’d already had numerous text messages asking if he was the lucky winner, having received the email update of the draw made on Thursday 28th July. He had already started thinking about how he would spend his winnings. With annual leave approaching next week Bill said a holiday abroad is definitely something being considered.

Chairman Scott Murdie congratulated Bill. "We are delighted to see the Loons Lucky Lotto won for the second time in less than 12 months, with the previous jackpot won in November 2021. Everyone at the Club is pleased to see Bill win the jackpot."

Scott again highlighted the importance of the Loons Lucky Lotto to Club funds. "The Lotto had been a critical part of our fundraising over the last two years and continues to be important with all the financial challenges we are still facing. It's great to see the jackpot won and also to report that almost £8,000 has been paid out in Lucky Dip prizes in addition to the two main jackpots totalling a further £8,500 since the Lotto was launched in 2020.

Scott continued. "A huge thanks to everyone who plays the Lotto and hopefully Bill’s success will encourage others to take part and help the Club but also have the chance of a Lucky Dip or Jackpot win for themselves."
