A special thank you in the first instance today to the Forfar Athletic support who turned up at yesterday’s clash with Elgin City in excellent numbers and gave the players their backing throughout the ninety minutes of play.
It is so appreciated by all connected with the club.

The Davie family are superb backers of the ‘Loons’ cause over the course of a season and we trust that they are aware of how appreciative ‘Loons’ officials are of that support.
Their party chose goal scorer Stuart Morrison as their man of the match.
Louise Peters and her party from Johnston Carmichael Accountants, Scott Neave and friends and David Pearson and friends occupied the McPhee, Houston and Knox Lounges and their support in this manner is as ever appreciated.
It was also a particular pleasure to welcome former Forfar Athletic stalwart Dougie Craig and his golfing buddies to the hospitality for a second year running, thanks again for your support lads.
With Scott Peters and Scott Taylor guests of Louise on the day, we had somewhat unusually three former ‘Loons’ players within the hospitality complex on the same day.
After a break this coming weekend due to our exit from the SPFL Trust Trophy, we then resume league duties away to Spartans on the 14th of the month, Stranraer the visitors to the ‘toonie’ on the 21st.
Incidentally that clash with Stranraer is at present one of only two guaranteed home fixtures we have over the next nine weeks!
Disappointing and no doubt a drain on the finances into the bargain.
