NEW HOSPITALITY PROVIDER

As previously advised, after nearly twenty years of providing catering for our match day hospitality guests, Mrs Girdwood announced her retirement at the end of last season. Following discussions with many local catering providers, we are delighted to announce Gregory Johnston of Silva Service Catering as our new match day caterer.

Greg has been delivering exceptional dining experiences for many local hotels and businesses for many years. Starting as a Commis Chef with Hilton Hotels UK after moving back to Scotland from South Africa with his family, Greg also has experience of providing hospitality at many major sporting events throughout his career. In addition, Greg has worked locally at both Dundee FC and Dundee United FC as a Chef.

Following this, and fuelled by a desire to forge his own path, he then established his own business, Silva Service Catering. Greg also assisted with the extensive catering provided during the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games as one of their Lead Chefs, catering for thousands of Athletes, Coaching Staff, Officials and their family members.

In November 2023, Greg opened a café in the Innovation Hub at MSIP Dundee, where he and his team provide a friendly service for all of the park users. Silva Service Catering also provide the hospitality catering for all of the events at the Innovation Hub, as well as doing the catering for Dundee & Angus College and at various private and sporting events around Angus and Tayside.

We are sure that all of our regular and new hospitality guests for the coming season will be delighted with our new match day offering, and that all will warmly welcome Greg to The Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park.

A further announcement regarding our match day packages for next season will be made soon, in advance of the league fixtures being announced on Thursday.
