David Cox was the winner of the Supporters Player of the Year Award the trophy presented by Lesley Deas on behalf of the Supporters Club at a short ceremony following Saturday’s game. Runner up was Danny Denholm, with Thomas O’Brien in third spot.
Thomas was the player however chosen by his fellow Players for their award as Player of the Year, David Cox runner up on this occasion.
The Away Supporters Player of the Year Award also went David Cox with Thomas O’Brien in the runner up berth on this occasion.
The Goal of the Season award went to Danny Denholm for his stunning strike against Clyde at Broadwood in March.
The Supporters Club also made a presentation to Martyn Fotheringham to mark his testimonial season.
Supporters Club treasurer David Strachan handed over a cheque for £22,000 to ‘Loons’ Chairman Alastair Donald, the monies raised through the Matchday Refreshment Kiosk, 50/50 ticket sales and other activities throughout the year.
The Directors of the parent club would as ever like to put on record their thanks for the hard work and dedication of those involved.
