Over the years I have heard folk ask “so what do the Supporters Club do” – how to answer that!

The Supporters Club main purpose is to raise funds which will then filter to the Club to assist with ongoing costs. In past years we have in the main be able to handover in the region of £20,000 at the end of each season which in this day in age doesn’t seem a lot but for a Club like Forfar Athletic that amount can be used to cover ongoing costs/outlays during the closed season (if there is such a thing).   Obviously during the Covid years we were unable to do fundraising but tried our best through various ventures to hand over at least small amounts throughout the year to keep the “kitty” going.

We held our AGM back in June and the following office bearers were appointed:-

Chair Person   -           Rhona Shepherd

Vice Chair       -           Dave Barber

Secretary        -           Karen Kelly

Treasurer        -           David Strachan

Minute Secretary –     Helen Dryden.

The above office bearers are assisted with any decisions by a small band of committee members.

You may think that is not for me – which is fine – but you would not be expected to turn up for every meeting. It is always just to know that we can rely on you the supporters to support any ventures we undertake.   We are also always on the lookout for any new ideas on the fundraising front.

Supporters Club membership is very inexpensive to join for a season, these are currently set at:-

Membership    -           £10

Junior/Concession -    £ 5

The Supporters Club undertook a good number of years ago the Player Sponsorship packages and to each and everyone of you who have supported this from the outset – thank you.   The packages for season 2023/2024 are as follows:-

Gold Package             -           £150 – which includes a replica top

Silver Package           -           £100 – which includes a t-shirt

Bronze Package         -           £80 – which includes a small gift with FAFC logo.
